Rocco's

Can you smell it? This is THE BEST PIZZA! It had been only four weeks since we had last been to Rocco's, but it seemed like a year to us. We go to Rocco's almost each week. I can't believe my family never went to Rocco's when we were growing up. It wasn't until Brian and I started dating that I had Rocco's and I have loved it ever since!

Notre Dame

Many times I forget what is in my own backyard. Notre Dame is such a beautiful place and very quiet at this time of year. In just a few short weeks there will be thousands of people on campus for the first game of the year. I am actually VERY excited about football season this year!

GOOD MORNING! When you stay at the condo you wake up early, to this beautiful view. Before my mom and I went to the field museum we took in the view for a few minutes. I just love it!

On Tuesday my mom and I headed to Chicago for a little get away! We went to the furniture mart. Holy cow, that place has a ton of cool stuff. I kept looking at things and saying "In the next house." After our trip to the furniture mart we did a little shopping on the way back to the condo. Later that evening I took my mom Pops for Champagne, a place my gals took me to for my bachelorette party. I definitely recommend getting a bite to eat there. The food was sooooo yummy! Later when we returned to the condo with sore feet, we were greeted with this amazing view!

My yard

 

Do you ever just look up? I find myself looking up quite often when I take baby Z for a walk. We live The Wooded Estates, a neighborhood that use to be a forest. I love all the old trees and how their branches twist and turn. This one is in the front of our house and come a few months it will begin to drop it's billions of leaves (the only part I dislike about living in our little hood).

The Barn

 

This morning I had a great ride with my old man. The other day I was talking about western riding at the world show. So today, while I was riding I did a series of flying lead changes.  You would think that as Simon would age, he would start to slow down a bit. His flying lead changes are as smooth today as they were nine years ago when we showed in the finals at the youth world :)

Today I took my little gal Lilli up to Diamond Lake. I put her on the big blue floating mat and she was in heaven!

I took Adriana up to Diamond Lake and once she was in the water the little fish didn't get out. After two hours of being on the mat I couldn't believe how wrinkled her hands and feet were. Ohh to be four without a care in the word.

Happy Birthday little girl! I can't believe my niece is already four. For her Birthday I took her out to ride Simon.

Long time no blog...

It has been a week since I have updated and it is all because I deleted ALLLL of my pictures from this past weekend. There is still hope that I can get the pictures back. I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that they can be recovered, and when they are I will replace some of the pictures on here. So, let me update you on the past week.

To celebrate two years of wedded bliss Brian and I headed up to New Buffalo to one of our favorite spots.  I can't believe it has already been two years since we got married. I guess time really does fly when you are having fun!

 Isn't this place beautiful? This was the location for Jeff and Emily's big day. The reception was on the bottom two floors. It was very cool how they transformed this space into a beautiful reception.

Last Wednesday our friend Chris brought his daughter over to play with me. Love her and her smile!
