The husband :)

Today and everyday I am grateful for Brian! We have been married for almost three years! EEeeeeK! Where has the time gone? I swear it seems like we were just Juniors at IU meeting up for happy hour. Seriously.

Brian allows me to do the things that are most important to me and cheers me on along the way. He is my biggest supporter when it comes to challenging days at school and I couldn't do life without him. He has taught me to just RELAX. Many times I get all worked up about all the things I need to get done at a given time and he is always there to calm me down when I am freaking out for no reason.

Another thing I love about Brian is how thoughtful he is towards others. This past month Brian (Donny as his caddy) walked 101 holes of golf on a 100* day for Habitat for Humanity. By the end of the day he was very, very sore, but he said he would do it again for such a great cause!

Love

Our wedding day was incredibly perfect and we often wish we could do it all over again!
The best is yet to come!

Grateful

3 months. That's how long its been since I have been on here. Wow. Can you say busy? First of all, the end of the school year came so quickly then we got on a flight to Africa. Second, I have been either lazy or busy babysitting since we got home. So now three months later, here I am realizing my photo a day blog, is done.
Time to change it up a bit.

This morning while looking a photo I realized how I am an incredibly lucky girl. I have an amazing life filled with people who make me incredibly happy. Not only do I have incredible people in my life but I get to do some pretty incredible things (I know, I have said incredible many times, but that's how I feel).

So here is the picture. Last month we went to Tanzania. We first visited the village of Kitete. We met the most beautiful people who live with practically nothing and are happy. That amazed me. We have so much here in the United States, yet it seems like we are always complaining or looking for the next best thing.

Today I decided to find things in my life that I am grateful for. My mom always told us "Have an attitude of Gratitude!" so that is where I am going with my blog at the time.

I am beyond grateful that I was able to go to Africa and meet such wonderful people. While looking at this picture I realized I have so many wonderful opportunities in my life.  In this picture you see Kelly teaching the kids to play a hand game. The one student Kelly is playing with is Zita. If allowed I would have brought her back to the States with us. Loved her.
