While in Valencia we went to lunch at la burraca where we dined on seafood paella. I snapped this picture at the traditional house that would make paella. I love how the house had the simple cross on the roof.

 On our second day we went to the Lladro museum. Oh my goodness, I think I have found my new collection. These pieces of art are beautiful. This is a picture of just a portion of a chandelier made of Lladro angel figurines.

 Along with my favorite Starbucks drink, I also love the changing of leaves. In my neighborhood we have beyond plenty of trees. I love to watch the slow change of the leaves!

My parent's house

 There is really is nothing artsy about this picture at all. This hat was once worn by my Granddaddy Jim. I hadn't seen it in years and on the night of my brother J's birthday it was brought back out. When I think back on my childhood memories with my granddaddy, this hat was a staple piece of his clothing. Ahhh the memories! Thanks Mom.

Why does my top row always look like this??? Too much Tupperware for this gal. I actually heard one of our guy friends say "Holy Tupperware!" When he opened the refrigerator last week. He was right. And this isn't the most exciting picture, I know. I feel like crap thanks to two of my first graders.

This is my home away from home. Today I spent 11 hours of my day in this classroom. The year is coming along, but there is still a long way to go.

By the way, I can't believe I have already been doing this little project for sixty days. Wow. My life seems to be flying by...it needs to start slowing down NOW!

 So this little guy was a lovely wedding gift from one of Brian's groomsmen. Sadly this weekend we found out that his stream is no long flowing, just a little dripping. I guess we need to find him a doctor.

Ok so the last pic was about food and so is this one. Yes, I love food. Tonight I made a ridiculous pesto sauce and for once I didn't make enough pasta. I always make too much pasta and the one night that I don't Brian wants more and there isn't any. Guess I will have to make it again.
